Timorous Beasties is a design lead manufacturing company based in Scotland, at its core producing fabrics and wallpapers for high-end hospitality, commercial and residential interiors. Noted for surreal and provocative design, the studio was founded in Glasgow in 1990.
It is a multi-award-winning, internationally acclaimed company at the forefront of British design, working with clients such as Fortnum & Mason, Victoria and Albert Museum, Johnnie Walker and Nike. Timorous Beasties also works in a wide range of disciplines including graphics, furniture, ceramics and glass.
Winners of the Walpole Award for ‘Best Emerging British Luxury Brand’ in 2007 and ‘British Luxury Design Talent’ in 2010, the company now has three branded showrooms in Glasgow, London and Berlin.
